Dear Sparks...

My English teacher says that anyone that writes about love, does it in a poor way. That nobody can write about love whether it be in a poem, story etc. without it being down right horrible. I can see where that opinion may stand, that not everybody will be able to relate therefore making it boring and somewhat pointless. But what about authors that tell a story based off of love? A story about 2 people finding each other and falling in madly love? You can't call that failure. And if you think you can, look at the author Nicholas Sparks, who as written countless novels based off of love; some, even becoming fantastic movies. Probably the most famous, The Notebook is entirely based on 2 people's journeys through life being altered by love alone. Yeah, my English teacher forgot to talk about that.

I want Nicholas Sparks to create me a boyfriend, because where I live, you're better off buying a cat. Wait, let me correct that. Better off buying several cats. I would love to know where Mr. Nicholas Sparks lives because obviously, the water they drink is better. How on earth can he come up with these idealistic men? It's mind boggling.

I want him to combine Noah from The Notebook, John from Dear John and Mike from The Guardian. There ya go Mr. Sparks create me my dream boy!

I wonder how he perceives life, how his marriage is and what not, because I truly commend him for creating such stories that tear your heart out - After finishing Dear John my heart was destroyed. Honestly, I cried for 3 days. That book was so well written and the story was so touching and devastating that it became a piece of me. The way he used pathos makes me feel for Savannah and John, like no other book has.

I love Nicholas Sparks, and I would love him even more if I was the next character in his novel.

Please & Thank You.
