What Are We Suppose To Call This??

Highschool. Enough said.
Honestly, I dont even know where to begin. Okay so let's start with drama. It's everywhere, no matter what age or where you are. But it sucks. It makes you feel like someone ripped out your heart, dangled it infront of you and then stepped on it.
But do you know what's even worse? When you didnt do anything wrong, and you're the victim. When people hate you before they get the chance to know you, when a misunderstanding turns into harmful words; and as a result, you loose the people you love the most. When immaturity reaches its peak, and as a result, you watch people walk out of your life. Story of my life - it sucks. I witness this all the time at my job, where two girls are shopping and are oblivious to who is listening. It hurts to hear what horrible they're talking about their supposive "friend" how she is annoying, or a bitch etc. Then my question is, why do they still talk to her? Why not tell her to her face instead of stabbing her in the back?? Can anybody answer this for me?!
The saying, "sticks and stones may brek my bones but names will never hurt me" is crap. Sure sticks and bones leave physical marks, but physical marks fade. Words STING, and DAMAGE the heart in ways only a victim would be able to relate to. The victim looks back on all the great memories but when reality hits-it hits HARD.
Every teenage girl goes through something similiar to this, I witness it all the time. So should we forgive them? Move on? Forgive and forget". I just dont know.

  1. it's stupid and immature, but it's part of human nature. we want to avoid conflicts with others, and so endure what we can't stand in order to preserve the peace. not that that's an excuse. high school girls in particular i think are insecure about themselves and so need to rip other girls apart in order to feel better about themselves. sadly, that may be why those girls still talk to that other girl, to make themselves feel better. just a thought. i hated high school though, so at least you're not alone there. drama doesn't stop after you get out, but sometimes people are more mature about it. keep your chin up, col :)
